What this site collects

If you enter your email address in the update form, it is stored with Kit (ConvertKit), the service used to send news about the game. If you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are relayed through Formspree and delivered to the developer. Nothing else about you is collected. There are no accounts, no tracking pixels, and no advertising.

How it is used

Your email is used only to send occasional news about Backrooms: Echoes of Ash, such as the Steam store page going live or a release date. It is never sold or shared.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to be removed through the contact form.

Third parties

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, submits the update form to Kit, and submits the contact form to Formspree. Each has its own privacy policy governing the requests it receives.

Cookies and storage

No cookies are set. The site stores a single flag in your browser's session storage so the intro screen is not shown again during the same visit. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact form.
